Construction Management Methods/Systems

The Marco Group of Companies employs a team approach to all construction management. Each project has a dedicated full time Site Superintendent and a Project Manager. Normally, each Project Manager would be responsible for one to three projects at any given time, depending on the scope and complexity of the project. Both individuals work together as a team to complete the project on schedule and within budget. All project information is shared on a continuous basis.

Other than these two full time professionals, sizable projects with a fast-track schedule may be staffed with a project engineer and / or a site clerk depending on project specific requirements. Additionally, each and every project is given the support of the entire team of professionals at Marco. From time to time, the Project Manager and Superintendent will take advantage of the varying experience and expertise of the other team members, be it in terms of construction implementation, cost control, scheduling, or contract administration. Marco's senior management team meets on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, as required to review each project.

Computerized management software is used extensively, including programs for scheduling, cost control, estimating, office management, accounting, and Computer Assisted Drafting.
